FAQs

  • How do I know if my concrete needs repair or replacement?

Signs that your concrete may need repair include visible cracks, uneven surfaces, water pooling, sinking or shifting, or spalling (flaking or chipping). If you notice any of these issues, it's best to have one of our concrete experts assess the condition to prevent further damage.

  • What types of concrete repairs do you specialize in?

We specialize in a variety of concrete repair services, including driveway, patio, garage floor crack and joint repair, concrete pavers, concrete flooring, sidewalk and driveway repairs, retaining walls, deck footers and other structural reinforcements. Whether it's residential, commercial, or industrial, we provide customized solutions for all types of concrete issues.

  • How long does a concrete project take to complete?

The duration of a concrete contractor home improvement project depends on the size and complexity of the job. Minor repairs, such as crack filling or surface resurfacing, may take a few hours to a day. Larger projects for new driveways or patios could take several days. Commercial projects and swimming pools could take longer. We always provide a clear timeline before starting any project.

  • Is concrete repair or replacement expensive?

The cost of concrete repair varies depending on the extent of the damage, the type of repair needed, and the materials used. Depending on the concern, it may be better  to invest in replacement rather than a repair, as some issues could repeatedly occur if the concrete is unstable or unlevel. A concrete project is an investment in your property and can add long term value and functionality.

  • Can you repair concrete during winter months?

Yes, we can repair concrete in cold weather, but it requires special techniques to ensure proper curing. We have special cold-weather concrete repair methods such as heated blankets and accelerators to speed up the curing process and ensure a durable finish. Fortuntely, here in Round Rock, TX we do not experience much cold weather.

  • Will replacing driveway or patio increase my property value?

Yes, replacing a driveway can potentially increase property resale value, especially if the current driveway is in poor condition. A well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing driveway adds curb appeal, which is a key factor in how potential buyers perceive the overall value of a home.
